Long Trout Winery Events 2009Events Key: = Away Event - Don't make a fuss, Just get on the Bus!!  = Long Trout Winery Home Event  = Long Trout Disc Golf Event Upcoming Adventures of 2009 April 4th: Pappy T's in Hamburg Presents - A Wine Tasting Event with Long Trout Winery! Taste some wines from Long Trout's vast assortment. Wines will be available to purchase by the glass. Come join us on Saturday from 4pm till 8pm. We are located in the Microtel hotel across from Cabela's on Route 61. April 11th: Gruesome Twosome Disc Golf. A double-bagger event. Registration 9:00 am, Tee-off 10:00 am April 25th & 26th Berk's County Wine Trail: "Tastes of Spring" A chef will be present and who knows what will be created to match the wines. Perhaps some trout? Event will vary by winery. May 1st - 3rd: The Pennsylvania Women's Show at the Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA. A true Maiden Voyage. Enjoy a Burnin' Bra! http://www.pawomensshow.com/Default.aspx May 2nd: Longwood Gardens Wine & Jazz Festival. These are THE Flowers of Power backed up by some very cool jams. Many wineries at this one! http://www.longwoodgardens.org/WineandJazz2009.html May 23rd: HIPPIE DAY!!! The Aquarian gathering continues to be a celebration of joy for all. With our musical friends Dakini. Bring a blanket or chair. Food will be available for sale. DD's are recommended, and PLEASE pay attention to the NO PARKING SIGNS. All parking regulations must be obeyed AT ALL TIMES to keep our "deer" neighbors happy!! May 24th: Hippie Hurler Disc Golf Tournament. May be all too true for those attending both days! Best of luck to the Long Trout Irregulars! Registration 9:00 am, Tee-off 10:00 am, Nap-time 4:00 pm. June 13th & 14th: PA Food & Wine Festival Split Rock Resort, Lake Harmony, PA. Party in the Poconos! Wino Heaven. Three separate areas of food, wine, and music! This was a Long Trout destination long before we attended as a winery. Winery will be closed this weekend, but come visit our tent at Split Rock! http://www.splitrockresort.com June 20th: Island Day at the Winery (formerly Pirate Day). Noon to 7pm. AAARGH, Mateys!! This be a jammin' good time. Jimmy and the Parrots provide fantastic tuneage. Bring a blanket or chair and make a day of it. Beware of he who carries the limbo stick. July 25th: Noon to 5 PM: Take your Top Off - Calling All Convertibles.... In a topless car club? Corvette, Porsche, Audi, VW, Pontiac, Ford, GM, Jeep, Classics... or Just like checking out cool soft tops? Long Trout will be the place to be... Jammin with Lil-Ragu Blues Band playing from 1pm-4pm. Drag out that rag top and hop on over for a cool topless afternoon.... A terrific trifecta of Great Wine, Hippie Chicks & Classic Rock! August 8th & 9th - Berks County Wine Trail - Cool Treats. Enjoy a special concoction straight from the Hippie Gnomes. We know how to play with wine! August 9th: Scratch n Sniff PDGA "C" Disc Golf Tournament. It's our first official PDGA event! Come check it out! Big Dog, Little Dog, Red dog, Dead Dog. Registration 9:00 am, Tee-off 10:00 am. August 15th: Summerfest Wine Festival at Benigna's Creek Winery, Klingerstown. We had a BLAST last year and we're goin' back again! The Hippie Chicks love the alpine slide... 7 Springs Resort Wine Festival September 5th: Once In A Blue Moon - Noon to 5 PM - Got the Economic Blues? Feelin' Low?... How Blue Can You Get?... Come Out to Long Trout Winery & Shake Off Them Blues with the Mark Furman Band. September 6th: 1st Annual Schuylkill County Wine Festival: 1 - 6 pm, Hegins Park, Hegins, PA. Featuring local wines, a delicious variety of local food and entertainment. Admission $15, DD $5. Come discover the best kept secrets of Schuylkill County. September 12th & 13th - Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival. Noon to 6pm daily. We braved Hurricane Hanna with the Hard-cores last year! Party-on you Rock Stars! We'll see you rain or shine! Gettysburg Wine & Music Festival October 3rd: Fiddlin' Around - Noon to 5 PM. The Fall & Fiddlin' Just Seems to Go Together & They Both Begin with "F", So Get Furry, Get Funky, Get "Freaky" & Feel The Cool Jams of "Red". No....It's Not Your Basic Stradivarius... October 10th & 11th - Berks County Wine Trail - Wine & Cheese. Pair local wines with local cheeses. A timeless combo! January 9, 2010 - Long Trout Ice Bowl Disc Golf Tourney- No Whimps, No Whiners! Registration 9:00 am, Tee-off 10:00 am.  So This Summer- Once In A Blue Moon, Take Your Top Off & Fiddle Around At Long Trout Winery PEACE OUT! |
